Alex has 15 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and has spent majority of her career at Campbell Soup Company. She currently leads Campbell’s Nutrition and Health Sciences team, a passionate team of nutritionists who are dedicated to creating delicious, nutritious, and accessible foods for millions of people across North America. They are responsible for translating nutrition trends and the latest science into opportunities for innovative products that can help people eat well.
Alex received her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences from Penn State, completed a dietetic internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland, received her master’s degree in nutrition at Case University, and earned her PhD in nutritional sciences from Penn State. Her research investigated the effects of protein, energy density, and portion size on satiety and energy intake, and her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Alex is an active member of several organizations including the American Society for Nutrition, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Penn State Nutrition and Dietetic Alumni Society.
Outside of work, Alex loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and two young sons going on hikes, camping, tending to the garden and just enjoying the fresh air. “
