Dr. Lori C. Talbot is a board-certified family physician and lifelong champion for rural, migrant, and underserved communities, bringing more than three decades of frontline clinical and leadership experience to the Cherry Hill Free Clinic Board of Directors.

A graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Talbot completed her family medicine residency at the Medical Center of Delaware and has dedicated her career to caring for patients who face systemic barriers to healthcare access. She has served in a wide range of roles including Medical Director, physician partner in a rural family practice, staff physician at federally funded community and migrant health centers, and coordinator of migrant farmworker health programs across New Jersey.

Dr. Talbot has been a steadfast advocate for migrant farmworkers and rural families, providing bilingual (English/Spanish) care and developing outreach-driven models that meet patients where they are. Her work has been nationally recognized, including the Unsung Hero’s Award from the Migrant Clinicians Network and induction into the Rural Opportunities Hall of Fame for over 20 years of service to migrant communities.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Talbot is certified in Hospice and Palliative Care and brings a compassionate, whole-person approach to care delivery, health equity, and organizational governance. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Talbot’s lifelong commitment to service, deep understanding of rural health systems, and unwavering advocacy for vulnerable populations strongly align with our mission to deliver dignified, high-quality care to those most in need.
