Sam Weiner, MD, MMM is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Virtua Medical Group (VMG), a 1,700+ clinician multi-specialty medical practice. In this role, Dr. Weiner oversees the clinical operations of VMG’s clinicians and practices throughout Southern New Jersey.

He is board-certified in Family Medicine and has practiced primary care in Voorhees and Marlton.

Dr. Weiner was born and raised in Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Muhlenberg College. He then attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, graduating with honors in 2001.

He completed a family medicine residency at Christiana Hospital in Delaware, then went into private family medicine practice in Voorhees, NJ in 2004 and joined Virtua Medical Group in 2008.

He participated in Virtua’s Physician Leadership Program in 2012 and in the Health Management Academy’s Physician Leadership Program in 2016. Dr. Weiner earned his Master of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020.
